| WORKING DRAWINGS |
Having worked on freehand sketching, manual drafting, and using architectural instruments, I had acquired basic skill in drafting. Then I went on to learn computer aided design, which I used successfully for three years. I gained proficiency in softwares like Autocad and Sketchup. I honed my technical detailing skills on residential, commercial as well as interior projects requiring minute and accurate detailing.
After sufficient practice on Autocad, I was keen to learn a new software and thus started learning Autodesk Revit. I discovered the BIM technology on Revit makes the work much more accurate and easy as you can see the whole structure taking shape in front of your eyes. Every detail in Revit takes a physical form and alters the structure suitably. Thus, from freehand sketching to manual drafting, to CAD and then Revit was an interesting transition.
I further improved my knowledge of working drawings and got a firm hand on Revit during my training period of one year. Following are some of the working drawings I have done.
